I did on my 96 cobra, I just made a template from the EGR plate and cut a block off plate out of steel at work.

I've already ordered a block plate from Jeg's.
I'm wondering, how is the car gonna react to this? It's throwing CEL's for EGR, And since the delete plate is a fraction of the valve and any related sensors, i've decided to take this route. just wondering will it need a tune or what to run right?

It will run but the cel light will always be on unless you turn it off in the tune. I always delete the egr on my cars, cleans everything up

Yeah, the car needs to be tuned anyway due to the Rear o2's. Buddy of mine does tuning/Dyno at his shop so he can handle that.
but will hp/tq/fuel mileage gain, stay same or lose?

You will lose some fuel mileage. I believe around 1-3 mpg
