I have never seen it done that way, not saying it won't work. As far as the cam goes, that was a brain fart

so because the block isnt machined for the bones, the lifters will not go low enough to get oiled properly the bones and spider hold them up higher b/c of the block not being flat is that right...

so you cant use 302 lifters and regular roller cam.....if you did would longer rods fix it?

Or you have to get the retrofits to make it work properly....

I got totally confused..Ive heard of people doing that and far as I know it worked fine.....lol
