reason I ask is cause I have a car with no motor and I have a 351w laying around.
I want a street/strip combo that is going in a fox body with a 5 speed with a total weight of ruffly 3100lbs and would like to see mid11s on motor with some room to grow later on, what would you go with.

stroke it or leave it stock stroke

this thread is just for ideas so please say what ever you think
.030 overbore, torqueplate hone it, deck it parallel with the mains, use a 3.85 cast crank, forged I beam rods, good set of 302 forged .030 over pistons, and you have a low 11 sec ride with the weight you mentioned. Chad that works with me at my shop drives this everyday just about and clicks off high tens with his and when he turns on the juice, he is knocking on the 9 sec door. Just my .02 worth, which is a little high priced if you ask me.

I say heck with 3/4 cam, put the whole shaft in!
