Flywheel Question: Rebuildable and Removable Weights

While recently shopping for a new flywheel, I have noticed a few companies that offer flywheels with rebuildable friction areas and removable weights. The rebuildable surface allows you to replace the worn area (approx $90) instead of getting the flywheel turned and the removable weights allow you to change between 50oz, 28oz, and zero balance.

I’m wondering if any of you have had experience with these or at least heard about them.

Here’s a couple Ebay auction for example. The first is a Fidanza Aluminum flywheel and the second is a Hawks Racing Steel flywheel.
