My vote is for the PIP sensor inside the distributor. This is checked on the ac scale preferably with a analog meter. Hmmm, analog meter? Haven't seen one of those in a while. LOL

When you turn the key, does the fuel pump prime? What year and model is this car?

I have had a main "POWER RELAY" blow on a foxbody and it did the same thing...It has its own lead to the switched side of the starter solenoid. The relay (on a fox) is up in the kickpanel above the computer. Not sure on the SN95.

If the power relay fails, then there would be no signal from the ECU to tell the fuel pump to run. He already said that he has fuel pressure.
Can you hear the fuel pump run when you turn the ignition keyo to the 'ON' (not 'START') position? Does it stop after a few seconds or does it continue to run?

When you turn the ignition switch to the 'ON' position, does the fuel pump priming eventually stop, or does it keep on running?

Nate.. is it an A9L in the car for sure? Did you reconfigure the pins correctly? If it was just "plugged in," then I would suspect something "decayed" in that 300 miles you drove it and finally gave up the ghost. Maybe a transistor, capacitor, logic chip?
