8CB on the one that came out of my coupe. I remembered that I still have it in the shop, and I checked it. Could be out of a T-bird, Crown Vic, or something with the standard 302 in it.
EDIT: No such thing according to this list here... http://www.fordfuelinjection.com/?p=17 ..I'm not saying the op doesn't have what he said, because Ford is known for having weird changes mid year, and other off the wall stuff.

I checked every disassembled binary file that I currently have on the '88-'95 5.0L mustangs and I do not have anything at all in them that even suggests a A6L existed for the 5.0L mustangs. Maybe slipped in a 4 or 6 cylinder car? Or as Eric said maybe a T-Bird or Crown Vic? If it actually does exist I would like to take a look at the actual binary code to see what it really looks like... Thanks, Dale

Ok I sent an email to Paul to see if he had ran across an A6L in any dis assembly that he has worked on. He told me that he has not seen such a thing. Here is a link to all the EEC's that we, well mostly Paul, have cracked over the years.
http://www.moates.net/zips/boothware/ So if you truely do have one that is coded as an A6L I would pay to have it shipped if you would let me read the binary so we can take a look at it. Let me know.

Looks like a speed density EEC just by looking at the picture.
But the only way to tell is to pull the actual binary file and see what the calibration looks like...... Is the EEC still good? If so would you be willing to ship it to me so that I can pull the binary file if needed? I will forward the picture on to Paul B. and see what he thinks as two sets of eyes are always better than one.
