I think I would do the GT40, 24# injectors, and 65 or 70 t/body.

I second that motion. If you plan to drive it around town.

I third that, and I would go with the 70mm TB as the GT-40 series uppers (Cobra,Tubular, and Explorer) have 70mm TB openings.

I swear I had to "clearance" my Cobra Intake for a 70mm Throttlebody? Maybe I imagined it.

Either way, there probably won't be a noticable difference in 65 and 70mm TB. Sell one and fund some other go-fast goodies!

Nope. I only had to clearance mine just a little for my Accufab 75

I agree. that is why i suggested either one. There will be no difference. If the 65 is a factory ford piece (like from a 93 cobra) I would use it over the 70mm

FWIW... I had a BBK 65mm on my car... then swapped to a 70mm Holley billet. Didn't like the "feel" of the pedal vs. throttle so I went back to BBK 65mm. Felt quicker off the tip-in with the BBK...but I think it's in the design.

I dunno, but it seems to me that with a cam with that much lift & duration, I would want the trick flow intake with a 70mm throttle body. Those GT40's would be the only real bottle-neck. Either way, the 24#'s should be adequate enough.

What valve springs are you running? The GT-40's will flow up to .600" lift in stock form.
