And since your thinking of going turbo talk to Matt (coupe) on here, and Reed at WORK TURBOCHARGERS www.workturbochargers.com they really know their shit and can help you a lot.
There is no way I would take a 351 stock that high. I have seen one come apart at a whole lot less rwhp than that

Yea well I've seen stock 302's split at 300hp n/a but that didn't stop me before so guess I will have to learn the hard way!

My brother ran an all aluminum Dart block in his Trans-Am series Mustang, it seem to have problems with the high RPM's (9k +) we theriozed that the block was allowing movement in the lower end in the high rpm band, he ended up blowing it at Daytona breaking the rods (titanium).
He got the Dart cast iron block and ran the same set up that he had in the aluminum block and never had a problem.
As I recall he was bored/stroked to 420 something cubic inches.
Like I said I think 9 or 9.5k rpm and as I recall it was 14:1 cc ratio.

I plan on 700+ in a stock block.

The worst thing you can do to a stock 351w block is over rev it. Rpm's and crank walk is the main problem as long as the rpm's stay below 6200 it should last a while.

Good point! I took my stock 302 block to 536rwhp and it lasted for a long time

But to me, the 351w is not much stronger than a 302 block. 800 to the tires is a lot to expect out of an Ford OEM pushrod small block and it last for more than a week or two

Guess we will see!
Any way to REDSUPERANGER I think out of the aftermarket blocks I would go with a dart, or man o war. If you need any help with anything let me know Pinson and Gardendale are not that far away from each other, and when you get ready for some machine work give Engine rebuilders in Trussville a call, Donny is an awesome guy who know's his stuff and has state of the art balancing equipment!

was just reading on Turboforums/turbomustangs.com today about a dude running a stock 94 roller 351 block and running mid 5's in the 1/8 with a 75mm turbo

When I do finally start putting all of this together, I'll probably do all of my balance and machine work myself. I did a little work at a machine shop right before I took this last job and I'm still welcome there, plus the added bonus of saying that I built it from 0. If I get my Ranger sold, that will be the payoff on my loan and then when the Accord goes, that'll be part of the block or at least the crank and rods lol.
