new wheels

I like the drag racing look dont do curves to much so I bought some Pro Stars for my cobra. Had to buy 1 inch spacers for the front . Bought some Mickey Thompson (sp?) DR's the new radials 28 x 11.5 15s man at the meat on them, should not have a problem spinning. Went after work to buy some tires for the front and no one had any 165 15 just my luck maybe better luck tomorrow

Re: new wheels

I like the way Pro Stars look.

Skinnies on the street still just doesn't sit well with me. I know they're fine, but something about that small of a tire just makes me nervous.

My coupe came with that size tire at all four corners, but they were only 14".

Yeah, but it wouldn't go more than about 50 mph, either.

Re: new wheels

If you go to lassiter mtn on the drag radial's I suggest saving up for some new axles if you have not upgraded them already.

My stockers lasted thru 6 years of abuse on ET drags and finally gave up after two passes at Lassiter on my MT DR's.

And I agree with bandit.......
