well, I guess I'll post this up now, I have had it since 7-15-06. Not near as much work done on it as I'd like, but I'm getting there.
basic info: 79 ford fairmont with 85,750 miles (original) purchased for $200 (yes that's two HUNDRED) and drove it up onto the trailer! Got it home, unhooked it, drove it off the trailer and down the street, had my 12 year old drive it back home (tense moment turning into the driveway, culvert on either side and a fairly large buckeye tree right there too! ) according to the South Carolina Title it weighs 2800lbs... If I can keep it close to that with the setup I'm wanting in there I'll be quite pleased. Removed the front bench seat and found a TI-84 graphing calculator...practically new, put on ebay, sold for $50 in approx. 1.5 hours (total purchase price now at $150), sold transmission for $75, now down to $75 plus approx $150 in diesel fuel to get car and come back=$225 total Parts being used from my 92 coupe project:
Parts I have added
Parts I have removed
And now for some pictures bullitts will not be on it, trading my 18"saleens for Mach 1 rims/tires and some $$$$ just to keep the old school look
