HVAC/radio relocation
i have always wanted to have the radio up higher and have found a kit to do so. anyone ever seen this? also i wonder if there would be any mods to wiring or anything in moving the Hvac controls. here is a link to the kit. i think it would look kick ass too. relocation kit

Re: HVAC/radio relocation
I saw a relocation a year or so ago. Very cool but doing so would be a major pain in the ass

Re: HVAC/radio relocation
i was wondering what all would be involved. i guess when i change the carpet out in the next couple of months (hopefully), i will take a few extra pieces out and see what it involvles. i think it is pretty cool that it includes the gauge spaces. it would definitely be unique. when i order mine i will get you one Lee, we will figure it out together.

Re: HVAC/radio relocation
Check out these plates... www.gaugeplates.com he is a guy from the Turbomustangs site who is making them. You can go to TM.com and probably find a few posts about them.

Re: HVAC/radio relocation
I could do without the freaking logo being engraved on the bottom of the plates on the plastic ones...

Re: HVAC/radio relocation
I moved mine - I'll post pics when I get the car back - I made my own trim piece out of fiber board, then wrapped it in black leather.
I'm a music buff, and am constantley switching out CD's - couldn't stand the stock location of the radio. |
