Not enough room to do that with a mod motor. Motor has to come out. Good time to do some turbo cams. Whats the specs on your car? Sounds pretty mean

you guys have never worked on a mod motor have you? the stud will hit the inner structure before it clears the block.

Even with bolts instead of studs its a pain in the ass to remove the heads with the engine in the car. Especially the LH side, removing the hydraboost system and loosening the brake pedal just to get the damn cam cover off

stock motor with a 88mm turbo, i thought about going with cams and ported heads but i like the way it looks and sounds pretty much like a stock cobra with exhaust.i donw want to give to much away about the car.when you have 800rwhp om a car theres not to much that can hang with you, my mine races are with bikes when i turn up boost and run c16 im right at 900 to the wheels plus i have nitrous run to the motor i just havent used it.

Yeah I wouldn't worry about cams or anything like that, I'm sure your drivability is pretty good now since the motor is still stock. That's what I loved about the 4v's, the stock heads and cams love boost and make very good power.

I cant speak for Doug, but the shop that I was at we never got any love from the DOHC mod motors, and the only thing modular I ever had to put a head on was a V-10 F-250.

it wasnt fun, but it was all becuase of a rather large gentleman changed his own spark plugs didnt tighten #5 (I think) down too well and blew it out.He then proceded to install a plug with more/longer threads and when it blew out, he brought it to us.
