Personally, I would sell the girdle and buy a nice set of aftermarket caps and ARP studs. The 351W block should be just fine if your tune is right. |

As far as your bearings go, just check your clearance and if that's good just re-torque and be done.

When I bought my short block from DSS I added the girdle and just had to find a pan with flat bottom in front of sump. The sn95 is more of a V shape. went to pullapart and got one off a lincoln or something like that. Fit with no problems.

if you can get the early double sump flat 351 pan the girdle will fit. You will just have to modify the pickup tube.....
