Re: Accel pump multiplier-Global

I noticed that. I had to use a binary editor to get it pass the 1.99. I am still playing with the accel function, scalar and table.

Re: Accel pump multiplier-Global

FWIW,

I've been working on my AEF table also and it seems that on the A9P Ford decided to zero out or put wierd numbers in the cells that couldn't be accessed with a stock motor/setup. With my KB at 8psi I get into many of these areas and it causes big problems, lean backfiring, hesitation and stall recovery at inappropriate times. Making good progress, so I'll report later.

Mean while one of my BBK Ceramic coated headers developed a crack at a bend in the middle of one tube...major bummer. Putting on a set of JBA Titanium Ceramic coated headers now...got the tough one on so looking good. The JBAs look like very high quality compared to the BBKs.

Was this using the Caledit software?

Re: Accel pump multiplier-Global

I have also noticed that there are two scalars for accel:

Address_____________Description__________________ Symbol
0x7002 _________"Accel Pump Multiplier - Global " _____AEM
0x7014 ______________"Fuel Accel Mult"_____________MEFTRA

Yes one global and one just a straight multiplier. Do not remember the addresses though as I am completely brain dead today....

Also on Don's post about being able to go above the 1.99 limit maybe I am wrong about this, but I sure thought that it was 62 & 1.99. Will have to look at this later as now I am " " unsure. Maybe the addresses are incorrect on the A9M/A9P in Caledit? This would make more sense.....
Will have to do a little digging later tonight as now I am really confused......

Re: Accel pump multiplier-Global

If I remember correctly, Mike sent Don an update to the A9M dat file. This may have fixed the limits.

Ahhh.....I see. I had forgotten about that.....
So all we need to do is figure out what the real limit is huh?
