Thanks. It all will be powder coated before final assembly. I will shave the tensioner and idler pulley mounts off the front cover. Intake, front cover, and COP covers will be sterling jet hot coated and valve covers will be either gloss black or that wrinkle finish. What do you guys think? The elec water pump and alt (it will sit below on the pass side) are black as well.

I was kinda leaning towards the wrinkle as well. Kinda "old school" to go w/ the carb thing

Been a while. Car sat all last year untouched, now I got a place w/ a garage and am slowly working on it again
Finished cutting the trunk out Swapped the 5spd clutch/brake assy for an auto piece. 5spd w/ all sensors/plugs weighs 10lbs. New version weighs 4lbs...... Started on the fuel cell mounts today Cut the -08 AN fitting off the cell. Will be replaced w/ -12 AN... More to come...

Still plugging away on it...
The fuel cell is 15gal and will be filled w/ pump gas. I'm fabbing up another cell thats approx 5gal and will hold C16 race fuel. There will be a large "Y" valve that I will switch over when I get to the track. Throw the race timing setting in the computer, and the motor and both stages will run off the race fuel. Later on, if I can afford to go turbo (91mm ), it will act as a water/ice tank for the air to water I/C...
