It shouldn't change the pinion angle since your not changing anything on the rearend itself. Maybe the driveshaft angle to the pinion.

When i ordered new mounts from MustangsUnlimited a few years ago they told me i might like to go w/ the '92 'vert mounts as their stiffer, so all in all i have 'vert motor mounts now.
