The HX35 is pretty big. Go for the biggest injector you can. 50's would be nice...make sure to get the right impedence. A similarly "sized" T3/T4 will usually need 24-25 psi to put nearly 300 to the tires. I've seen the 35# injectors begin to go 13:1 lean at around 290-300 at the tires...definitely dangerous.

i did not have the inter cooler and band clamps to go any higher. and the vam was set up blow through. car pulled hard to be a full body 87 tbird. it took me about 4000 rpm to spool 20 psi with the hx35. i could get 9 pound at 3200 on the 2 step with the clutch in. if this is going to be a straight shift a blow off valve will be your best friend with this turbo.

:yep: The V8 TBI cars are where you get injectors... they had two 40's up until (I think) the 85 car. It had somewhere around a 52# I believe.
Not sure on color, but they are low-impedence, just like the SVO stockers.

do you already have the HX35 or are you looking for one? I have a brand new H1C (pretty much the same turbo) that I am needing to sell on the cheap.

i already have the hx35. Somebody looked at it and said it was an h1c though. Supossed to be virtually the same, so im not to worried about it, but it was sold to me as an hx35. How much are you asking for it?
I plan on useing a bypass valve. |

the h1c does not have a waste gate where the hx35 does. i think they are the same turbo besides that.

thats right... Some of the HX35 come without the wastegate also. IIRC, they are harder to find though. I like that fact IMHO becuase the wastegates were set so high and from what I have read on the Turbo Ranger boards, they are hard to adjust the boost pressure down.

alot of people just cut the waste gate off and build mounts to put the stock t-3 waste gate on it.
