Damaged Rods

Just thought I would post some pic's of the damaged rods from my brothers Trans Am series Mustang.
These broke coming out of NASCAR turn 3 at Daytona in November, he was bouncing off the rev limitor (8300) in 5th gear.
These were Crower titanium rods.

damn, think he needs to re gear for that track next time. Sucks that it came apart like that.

re-gearing is going to happen, not sure if he will just change 4th and 5th, or the ring/pinnion.
He should have it geared to run at about 7200-7400
