Yep I think we were darning each other to grab a wire to see if we'd get the shit knock out of us

I'd pull the rpm up to where the miss is pronounced and pull one wire at a time off the dizzy. If none change show a miss suspect a injector

I have Accel super stock on mine (not the cheapo base model yellow ones),with the boots bonded onto the wires.$40,and 5 years later, still no problems!

Try routing your wires so that they are not laying on anything metal, try setting your SP gap @ .040, and make sure all your factory grounds are still intact.

I have a set of Accel 300+ wires and a set of ford racing wires,Both do this, you dont have a problem if the motors not missing or skipping. If it was arching off something metal when you touch it it will shock the hell out of u.Its just a lot of voltage goin through the wires.

I agree with the guys who say it's not a problem. My current car doesn't do it (stock coil and ignition), but my last car had a 300+ accell ignition and boy would it ever show the lights under the hood at night. Engine ran like a sewing machine too.
