More tweecer news:

From the tweecer website:

Quote:
Beginning January 03, 2006, we will no longer sell direct to the public and all orders will have to be placed through one of our dealers. Anyone who has purchased direct from us will continue to have us as their first point of support. Purchases through a dealer makes them your first point of support.
So, either MG is going to devote less time to filling orders and more time to FIXING the software, or he's tired of dealing with the stuff, who knows?

Re: More tweecer news:

I think he simply wants to break down as many binaries as he can, and break them down enough (70-80%) to say "yes, you can tweeak a 2005 Ford XXXX". That way, he can sell as much hardware as he can. Forget the rest of us with the lowly EECIV and/or older year model EECV...

Well I spoke with him in great length last week and he had a few reasons. One of the reasons was product development, he felt if he could spend less time selling and dealing direct he could devote more time to R&D. He's not tired of dealing with the stuff, he's just at a point that he needs to reorganize to more efficently meet product demand.

He told me the same thing earlier this year when I spoke with him

Re: More tweecer news:

Geez, he's just NOW deciding that? He's been needing to do that for over 2 years now...

Seriously, I hope it helps him on his R&D, I just wish he's finish the R&D on the software, vs. doing R&D on decoding new binaries...
