Yeah, from looking at those spec sheets, it looks like the DY-605 and DY-606 have the same connector and specifications (figure 8). I guess it may have just been some minor manufaturer change by NTK that was enough to warrant a new part number and Ford opted for the updated version sometime during the 1990 production.

After thinking about it, there couldn't have been any operational differences since the EEC really didn't change between those years; the A9L, for example, spanned well before and after '90.
