im looking at spacer now. does the speed cal work or do i need the 23 tooth plastic gear

Yep. 3550 or TKO (4250), depending on the input/output shaft splines.

fine meaning the more splines the stronger it is? im am going to upgrade the clutch when i add procharger so i want to do it all once.

yeah make sure your input shaft bearing gets replaced when you change the input shaft and change the bearing retainer too just for good measure.
