Wide band?

I have been trying to get on the dyno for 3 weeks now. If walker is not out of town i am working. So for now i am going to summit in the morning and getting a wide band. My ? Is where should i put the sensor? I have a off road x pipe should i put it in the x?

have a bung welded about a foot past where the OEM sensors are (the first set) on either side

Agree with Lee. Try and keep it up close to the first set of O2's.

When I install Superchargers in 99-04 GT's I have the tuner turn off the rear O2 sensors and install the wide band O2 sensor in one of those bungs.

Probably not a major issue but that is really to far back Whit

yep and that makes it difficult when tuning the MAF curve in a car. The tailpipe sniffer is usually a couple of seconds and a couple of hundred rpm behind a wideband that is only about 24 inches (max) from the head. Brian and I (along with Blake in Trussville and when Shankin had Prospeed) watched this happen

A good tuner can make up for the difference though

i done some searching around today and i am putting it as close to the head as i can. And make it easy to get to so i can take it out when i get a/f right. Them sensors are 79.99 each. Wonder how the best way to store one when not useing it? Zip lock bag?

is this for a in the car gauge? or just for tuning while sitting?
