Felpro 9333 head gasket limit......

I found the limit on Felpro 9333 yesterday.

Took a co-worker for ride in the 93 yesterday after work. Nice and cold weather. We did two 3rd and 4th gear pulls on a low traffic road. On the last pass I saw 16psi on the boost gauge in 3rd, went into 4th, and BOOM car started making a loud exhaust leak sound. Limped it back to work and we noticed the head gasket fire ring sticking out from under the head on the #3 cylinder

sounds to me like the head lifted if the ring is sticking out from under it.

should I check the torque on the head nuts before removing it?

I would, are they ARP bolts or studs. Also after you remove them check them for stretch.

Seems like you must have had some detonation to do that.
