ring and pinion Q????????

What is the name of the bolt that holds the carrier pin in? Really does it have a name?!?

Ive got to put this in Sunday and Im looking for the torque specs.

I have a 1985 and a 1988 Ford service manual I could check for you, if memory serves me right, I think they are around 25-30 ft.lbs. (let me check for sure though).

Also make sure that you use a loc-tite on the threads.

Yea I found a guy with the specs on the ford 9.75 rearend and it was 22lb/ft.
Ill pick some loc-tite up today.
