What years did they build the late model Mach 1? What are the hp ratings,etc

03-04. HP is somewhere around 305 I think

I was thinking they made them more then 2 yrs. Is that motor equal to a 03 motor as far as internals? I was thinking it was 305hp/320tq.

It was just two years. Your hp and tq numbers are correct. The internals are not the same as the '03 Cobras. The automatic Mach's don't have forged cranks, IIRC (the five speed cars do).

I didn't think that they had the same heads either. I thought the machs were basically 01 cobra motors with different exhaust cams

I wasn't considering heads "internals". I'm pretty sure you're right, but the heads might have been unique, too. I know the cams were redesigned to improve low end torque at the expense of 15 peak hp, but I'm not sure if they changed the heads or not. Are the '01 Cobra motors 10:1 compression like the Mach 1?
