fender rubbing issues

quick question, any CHEAP ideas to roll the front/back fenders?

I have heard of using a baseball bat before, but never seen it done and I would more than likely be doing this myself....

Re: fender rubbing issues

Wood BB bat is the easiest way. A hair dryer/heat gun applied to the lip will help keep the paint from cracking as easily. Be advised, your paint MAY crack.

Basically, you just wedge the bb bat between the tire and the lip of the fender and put pressure on it while trying to roll the bat. Do it a little at a time working your way round the lip. Then do it again and again, keeping it heated with the dryer/gun. Repeat until it is where you want it.

Re: fender rubbing issues

i am going to have to do this to my rear fenders. call some local shops, the one around here priced it to me for like $160 for front and back. definitely cheap when you consider what damage you could possibly do. just my .02
