distributor problem

i have a 94gt,which i bought a complete engnine for on ebay.i'm having a problem with the msd distributor that came with the engine.is their any way to modify either the harness or the distributor to make it work.i already tried running the wires from my module which is seperate from my distributor,to the distributor i have which the module is part of the distributor? any advise would be appreciated.(the engine i beleive is from a 93gt.

just reuse the distributor from your old motor.the one you have wont work

Are you running an aftermarket ignition box? Which MSD dizzy do you have (part number)? I ran the standard EFI MSD dizzy with an MSD 6AL ignition box without any problems on my 95 Cobra. It was simple to wire using an MSD harness that is offered. Hope this helps!!
