Dynamat
Has anyone removed the carpet from their mustang and lined the floorboard with dynamat? Does it make a noticeable difference? How much does this shit weigh?

Should be about $15 a roll, weighs about 6lbs/roll, and it took about 3-1/2 to cover from the bottom of the firewall to the fenderwells in my coupe. Made a noticeable difference in noise & heat reduction since I was driving it without an interior. With the mass-back carpet & finished interior it is quieter than my wife's Civic as far as road noise goes. Couple pics from when I installed it. |
