mach 1 block

how much hp can the block in a mach 1 hold? not the shortblock, just the block alone

also just out of couriosity, how much can a stock mach shortblock handle?

I made 475 and 453 on my stock motor with a P1sc.I had it for over a year with many 1/4 mile passes and no problems. All about the tune.

I haven't heard of block issues. I think it is just the pistons or rods that can only handle 'x' amount of power

yeah i was asking about the block becuase im thinking that in the next couple of years if im able to get a mach to send the engine to VT engines and have em stroke it and put forged internals in it. but all they ask for is the block the rest they provide.

I have heard n the 700rwhp range but I spun a main bearing in mine due to oil loss which ruined my block
