Going to try one more set of halfshafts when they come out. Strange is making them. If those break to I will do a solid. The ones above had a 300m chromoly center bar and it broke as well

At least chromoly looks better when it breaks

Nice, clean fracture surface...strange that it didn't break at an angle though. Torsion breaks should be at an angle across the bar if I remember my Failure Analysis correctly...

Every dss axle I have seen that broke looked like mine. I believe the owner even said at one time they had a problem with their heat treating. Maybe thats the reason for the straight break.
