Re: exhaust

On my 2000, I had a VRS O/R X-pipe and for awhile I ran flowmasters with it. It was damn loud and when I got 4.10's with the auto tranny, I couldnt stand to be in teh car at freeway speeds. The drone was insane. I swapped later to magnaflow mufflers and I dont think i'll honestly own another brand. I love them.

Re: exhaust

they are both the same design and I think they're made by the same people, as for mufflers I like the borla pro xs.

Re: exhaust

yup as long as you stay from flowmaster, you'll be fine. i'v had mine on since i got my 94, the dronemasters are incessant.. i recomend magnaflow..nice and ballsy when you open it up, but quiet d/l for everyday drivin..

Re: exhaust

MAC Pro-Chamber + MAC Flowpaths =

You've heard mine haven't you? I have the 3" Flowpath cat-back on mine. The newer MAC exhaust systems have some how been designed not to drone. Even on the freeway it's not bad at all. Right now it sucks on mine thanks to a broken hanger and an exhaust leak but that's a different matter. Not to mention the new MAC cat-backs come with SS rolled tips.

Re: exhaust

Borla + X for the exotic sound, MAC + H or ProChamber for the "muscle car" sound.
