:jester:

Yep what ever it takes to make it faster than when Lee F. had it....:D
And since I could not afford the cost to put it back to factory specifications we might as well make it as fast as some of the LS1's I have seen around here....:)

Well no updates on the cobra at all....

Work has been stopped again due to a few personal family health issues.

The dart SHP 363 short block has been sold along with a few other things that I had planned to install.

Due to these issues the car will not be worked on again for quite a while. If work resumes anytime in the near future I will start a new thread as this one is way long...

Your thread isn't as long as mine Dale...and I've thrown in the towel too. Trans is sold and the 9" rearend is hopefully going shortly thereafter. I wish you the best of health! :nice:

Your project should go fine. The main reason I threw in the towel on this one is that I have no spare time to work on much of anything anymore due to my work schedule and a personal family health issue that takes a lot of my play time away. So the wife and I have decided to buy a non Ford related factory hotrod that is ready to drive...and it's looking like it will be a Mopar...;)

Sorry to hear about the family health issues I hope everything ends up ok. Another one moving to the dark side? Which one you looking at? If your moving away from the stangs hopefully it is one with a HEMI like the srt-8 charger or a challenger

For some reason I don't think it will have a Hemi, but the 2 extra cylinders will off set that

Yep Judy told me today that she would prefer the Challenger over the Viper.
She has a hard time getting in & out of the Vipers.....so we are going to look at this again tomorrow.

I went and looked at about 5 or 6 of them for her today and I just could not stomach the pink one that she liked so we agreed on going to look at this one after I pick her up at the airport tomorrow.
And since we both have to agree on a purchase like this it will probably be the Challenger that gets the vote. It sure does handle good and has plenty of power from the factory. Although that may not last long...:jester:

Im sure the power won't last long but it is a nice looking ride. I hope and pray for the best for both of you

You have our thoughts and prayers Dale. That being said, I've been drooling over the Challengers since the concept car was unveiled. When you get it, be sure to post up a lot of pics!:D. I saw a new one at the Dodge dealer here that has the six-pack style scoop on the hood. It looks cool, but I like the R/T style hood better.

I didn't even think about it....sorry...:(
I can say that I sold it for way less than what I bought it for as I sold it to a friend of mine here in town...

My motto is buy high and sell cheap....lol

Lee the guy I sold it too will take good care of it as long as his wife will let him keep it in his car collection....:D

Well just so you know a 10"-10.5" wide rim will fit in the rear of the challenger but the back spacing has to be just right....:D

Also for everyone that wants to know the '93 cobra has already been sold to another car nut here in town...and he only lives about 8-10 blocks north of me...he has already started modifying it to his liking...lol
