My car is going to have alot of the same looks as the original 2000 Bullitt Concept car .. i.e. same rear bumper, shaved side scoops ...

Which has got me wondering ... how would a Bullitt fuel door look on my car ... my biggest concern is that it would throw off the look that we've been after ... (simple, smooth, clean)

Don't know ... just thinking out loud

Me personally....I would go with the painted fuel door to match your car........The details on those doors would look fabulous with that deep blue.........

Just my .02

If you could get a flat fuel door of some kind and paint it to match the car, that would look the best. The Bullitt fuel door would stand out too much from the clean, sleek lines of the car.

That was the original plan but came up empty handed, we've been considering doing a little fabricating on the stock one to lose the little nub ... but alot of work and not sure how functional it will be ...

Go with a regular door, and paint it he color of the car. Looks cleaner.

That's what I am saying.......With the design of those doors and it painted your car color,it would look very good I think.

That might work, John. If I remember right, Eric did that with his '03 Lightning.

:yup:

I took a Bullitt fuel door and painted it body color and left the screws polished looking. But you could always paint the screws also. I think it looks racy without being too ricey :jester:

BTW: I havent seen those concept pics in a long time. I really like the simple lines of the car, especially the rear bumper and trunk lid....very clean :nice:

I like that! If you go with that cap you should paint it. It stands out way too much in that concept picture.

Yeah. I like that. It's really subtle. I haven't even really noticed that before. I knew you had done it, but it's one of those things you don't really notice most of the time. When you do notice though, it looks really good.
