Anyone running the Eaton Posi? Just trying to get a feel for whether its worth the money over the OEM 31 spline carrier.

It was hard to find someone that had one in stock when I got mine, but that was almost 2 years ago.
I shopped around and got mine for like $350 compared to Summit and Jegs that wanted about $450

Not any more, unless you find someone that has old stock, they had a price increase this year, and they went way up. Make me lightheaded kind of way up.

I have a Detroit Tru-Trac in mine and like it alot plus it was a little over $400 shipped. Ordered it from Drivetrain Specialist.

That's what Italian runs as well. That is also the route I am going to take if/when I blow the OEM 28 spline setup in my cobra

Detroit Locker, May cost a bit more but well worth the cost. only true postive traction out there.100% streetable no matter what you hear or read, had one for ten years, 0 problems, 100% postive traction

we put a posi unit in my car when we did the gears, but i don't remember what brand, my brother got it for me, and we just put it in......and oh ya lots and lots of fun (but not in the rain)

I run an Eaton posi with Moser 31 spline axles. So far so good, I beat up the stocker pretty good.

I will run the 31 spline Tracloc ford unit whenever rutsnake gets off his duff and gets me one outta the junkyard.

$50 bucks or $400 bucks? I dunno man.. its worth a gamble atleast once. plus your car has about 400rwhp
