Pleasantly surprised by the fit of the new 2005-2007 mustang wheels on an SVO. The offset is perfect and the only problem I have run into is the very tall 235/55-17 rubber scrapes slightly in the front area (bumper cover wraparouond). Needs a shorter sidewall.

Looks good. I Have a set waiting on tires. Getting 245/40/17
Lower profile tires will really set it off.
I had been waiting on a set of speedline wheels that came on the 87 Saleen. They sell for about 2K a set if you can find them.

Any clearance issues with these wheels on a lowered svo?

I don't think so Lee. Just needs a shorter tire than what comes on them.I also forgot to mention, as with many 94-04 wheels, the center cap on the front will not clear the bearing grease cap. :nono: Will have to figure something out.

A few have cut the front spindle and beat the cap in some. Another took two caps and mad one deep one with some super glue. I am making some out of aluminum to put on. Little lathe work and it will be done. Some time next year.

sweet, I was wondering about a set of those on the fairmont and didn't know what the backspacing/off set was like....I am running the 8.8 out of a 96GT with disc brakes so it's 1.5 wider than the reg. fox stangs...
