crossdrilled rotor question.......

For those of you that have and use crossdrilled rotors:

(1) Do yours seem to work better after they have gotten hot?

(2) Do you notice that they seem to give off that "hot brake smell" easier than a solid rotor does?

Yeah, but that has to do with the metal race pads I'm using.

I haven't noticed any smell at all from my brakes; not even while I was seasoning my rotors and bedding my pads.

Yes, but that has more to do with the pads than the rotors.

I've never had "hot brake smell", not even at the autocrosses.

same here. I have never experienced brake smell no matter how hard I am on the brakes
