5 lug conversion
Was thinking of possibly converting to 5 lug on the LX. Do you guys think it is worth the effort/money?
Joker....I know what you're going to say - Make sure you get new wheels also. |

Re: 5 lug conversion
I think the only real benefit is being able to get different wheels since not many styles are offered in 4 lug.

Re: 5 lug conversion
depends on why you want to do it. Are you planning to upgrade brakes with the swap? Or are you only doing it for better wheel selection?
Those are the only 2 benefits from doing a conversion

Re: 5 lug conversion
It really isn't that hard too do, and th cost depends on what way you do it. If you buy a kit through a company or buy junk yard parts.
If your doing it just for wheels, look around and see it you can find something in a four lug instead, because it would be just a waste of money IMO. If your doing as part of a bigger brake conversion, then IMO it's worth it.

Re: 5 lug conversion
check this kit out from Summit. it is alot of money but is a real upgrade in several areas.
The Link it wont link straight to the page. anyway it is down the list (the one priced for like $1900.00). seems like a good deal for all that you get.
