Another MAF/injector question

Got to thinking about this some more today.

When tuning my car with the 42# univer and the 42# injectors last fall and this past spring, should I have left the injector slopes to factory (24/24) instead of changing them 42/55 or whatever they are at now?

What happens when you change them like I did?

Re: Another MAF/injector question

Does this affect when you peg a meter?

The way you did it is the right way to do it. If you had left the injector slopes the same, then your MAF transfer would have to be different because it would basically have to "fool" the computer into thinking it had bigger injectors than the 24# units that is in the scalars.

You're MAF transfer is VOLTS vs. CFM, so if you left the smaller injectors in the scalar, then you're transfer would have to show less air coming in at a particular voltage; if you didn't change the transfer, then the computer would be injecting your 42# injectors at a pulsewidth that would be required if they were 24# injectors -- which means they would end up dumping almost two times the amount of fuel needed!
