Aerodynamics

Does anyone ever experience buffeting on the interstate with mild winds?.....

I went North on 65 today and seemed to be moving around quite a bit.....Is this just the way a Pony rides,or is there something I can do and make the car stick better.

Most times if I approach a Tractor Trailer and cut from left to right behind him to pass,I get some fairly strong turbulence....

am I just imagining this or is it happpening?

Re: Aerodynamics

I get a bit more than I had in say my '97 Grand Prix.
I think that it is just the way the cars are.

Re: Aerodynamics

Yep. All from the size/setup of the car. My fullsize truck isn't affected near as much as my fox body...

Re: Aerodynamics

You need one of these!! It will help channel the wind and use it in a more efficient manner.

Re: Aerodynamics

I noticed that when I got my Panhardbar the alot of that "shimmy" was eliminated, granted stronger gusts will still move the car a bit, but that turbulence is less noticable!
