Mass Air tube question..

I have a C&L 73mm Mass Air meter. When I bought the car I thought it had 24lber's.. It doesnt.. How can I find out if the tube is for 19lb or 24lb injectors?

Thanks
Carl

Re: Mass Air tube question..

There should be a color code on it. It may be on the top of the tube so you'll robably have to take it off the body to see the stripe.

Re: Mass Air tube question..

C&L's utilize the stock electronics and use the tube to sample at different rates. The stripe should be on the side of the tube, atleast that is where mine were. You can call c&l and they will tell you to measure it if you are unsure or just buy a new tube that you know will be right for like $30.

Actually, that spot that looks like clearcoat is the indicator. You have a "clear" tube witch is a 19# calibration in the 73mm MAF.
