Maganflow vs. Bassani
Which cat back do you guys think would sound better? A maganflow or bassani? I want to find one with straight cut tips but haven't had much luck. I've been told that the maganflow has them but I can't tell from the pics I've seen. Thanks

Re: Maganflow vs. Bassani
Magnaflow sucks. Of those two, go with the Bassani but be ready to pay for it.

Which catback kicks ass then? I wanna have a deeeeeep mean and clean sound without using flowmasters. Pretty much every GT I encounter has flows.

Re: Maganflow vs. Bassani
I have Magnaflow and am very pleased. However, that being said, if I had to do it over again, would go with Bassani. You can save some $$ by opting for their BX version over the stainless steel. No salted roads due to ice and snow down south, so the SS might be considered overkill....
The Maggies sound great, but the Bassani, to me, has a more "aggressive" tone. Both are very deep..... Just my $0.02, fwiw

Re: Maganflow vs. Bassani
Thanks for the input. Borla it is. Which of these two are the stingers? I'm guessing the one on the left marked aggressive?

Re: Maganflow vs. Bassani
I've yet to hear a Mustang I thought sounded better than a setup with MAC Pro-Chamber and Flowpaths. It still has a chambered muffler sound but at a totally different tone than the Flowmasters.

Re: Maganflow vs. Bassani
Flowpaths are made by MAC correct? Also, do any of you guys think that using an O/R prochamber instead of an X pipe with those bullet type Borla "S" stinger mufflers will make the exhaust pop or raspy? I had that problem when I had the prochamber installed with the one chamber flows that I used to have. The one chambers sounded really good with the stock H, but when the prochamber was put on, it sounded like ass. I just don't wanna spend $600 and it sound like a truck with glasspacks.
