Windshields

How much can I expect to pay for a windshield in a '03 GT? I got hit by a rock last week and need to get it changed. Any suggestions on who to use too?

Last one I got replaced was in my 94, and it ran right around $200 from glass doctor. They did very good work, were quick, and came to my job to fix it.

Re: Windshields

Check with your insurance. A lot of them cover broken windsheilds with no deductible.

Re: Windshields

I replaced mine in the fox about 3 years ago. I had the glass doctor do it, cost me 250 and they came to my work and did it in the parking lot.

Re: Windshields

I have few nicks in mine.. been worrying about them running and having to replace the windshield which I really don't want to do...cause I kinda like that horse in the middle! But a girl I work with took her car to Glass Masters and gave a good report.

Re: Windshields

JB, make sure that crack dosen't spider.i beleive that more than 1/2 an inch in your direct line of sight constitutes obstruction.. had somthin hit my rear window and it started as a ping and then started spreading.. tint seems to slow down the process.

Dadgummit, I forgot about the horse in the middle. I might have to indure the crack below the wipers. Or does anyone know who could duplicate it (the horse) or replace it too, if the windshied is replaced?

Re: Windshields

About the running horse, is it inside the glass or is a decal which can be replaced?
