turning the EGR off (A9L)
Per my phone call with Dale earlier this week
Scalars EGR Type= 2 EGR Max Idle test= 250 EGR Multiplier = 0 EGR Part throttle Adder= 0 Functions EGR multiplier vs ACT= set all y axis to 1 EGR multiplier vs ECT= y axis to 1 Tables EGR altitude base= all to 0 EGR Sealevel base= all to 0 EGR spark adder= all to 0 There is one more item left but I can't find my 2nd piece of paper I wrote it on. Dale or Clint, can you post up what it is? -lww |

Once you set the EGR type to 2 (off ) you do not need to worry about the other functions and tables as they are not used if the EGR is disabled. I personally leave them alone so that when it is time to smog the car I only change the one parameter. I then disconnect the WB and plug the EGR back in. It is pretty simple.

device. But when reworking the code to use the EVP/EGR AD channel for something else it is best to take everything into consideration. ASSuming that the car does not need to be smog tested. This means looking at all the multipliers, tables etc. It is best to error on the side of caution. Now back to lurking I go.
